Kurzyamov Vladimir Gennadievich was born in 1964 in Moscow in the family of hereditary circus artists and belongs to the 7th generation of the oldest Ferroni-Kurzyamovy circus dynasty.
In 1982 Vladimir graduated from the State College of the Circus and Variety Art and joined the Russian State Circus Company as Leader of the Gymnasts on Straps act.
In 1995 Vladimir created together with his wife Olga Kurzyamova the Bolero - aerial gymnastic duet on straps.
In 1996 Olga and Vladimir participated with this act both in the International competition “Cirque de Demain” in Paris, winning Bronze Medal, and in the International Competition of Acrobatic Art in Wuhan (China) winning Silver Medal.
In the period from 1996 to 2000 they worked in the following circuses:
The Scott circus (Sweden);
The Zavatta circus (France);
The Weltweihnachtscircus (Germany);
The Medrano circus (France);
The Big Apple circus (USA);
The Sea World (Orlando,USA);
The Big Apple circus (stage show, USA)/
In 1998 he graduated from the producer’s faculty of the Russian Theatre Art Academy.
In 1999 he worked at the creation of the Parallel World show together with his sister, producer, Susanna Rayanova in The Netherlands.
Since the year 2000 he has been working as a teacher at the Russian Theatre Art Academy.
In 2001 V.Kurzyamov started together with producer S.Rayanova to work on the creation of the circus show “Demiurge” as director, producer and coach. The show was produced in the Center of Circus Art in Moscow in 2003. Some of the acts from this show of the troupe took part in Russian and International Competitions.
The New Waltz act of the troupe – (weight-lifting jugglers), presented at the 1-st Russian Competition of Variety Performers, won First Prize, and V.Kuryamov was granted Diploma as the best producer.
The children of Olga and Vladimir – Vladimir Kurzamov (junior), at the age of 10, with the Juggler on a ball act “Pierott” and Diana Kurzyamova, at the age of 9, with the Angel act (aerial gymnast on threads) they started their professional activity in this show.
The Pierrot act in the performance of Vladimir (junior) got the following awards:
Bronze Medal at the Competition the First Footlights in Monte-Carlo (2004);
The Turkua Fund Prize at the Competition The First Footlights in Monte-Carlo (2004);
The Mayor Prize of Wiesbaden city at the International Circus Festival in Wiesbaden (2004);
The Angel act in the performance of Diana got the following awards:
The Princess Antoinette Prize at the Competition the First Footlights in Monte-Carlo (2004);
The Jose Nanette Prize at the Competition the First Footlights in Monte-Carlo (2004);
In 2005 Vladimir (senior) and Olga Kurzyamovs created their new act in the genre of magic transformation under the name «Two under an umbrella».
In the period from 2005 to 2008 they worked in:
- Kayseri Park (Turkey)
- International Festival in Manchuria (China)
- "Pandemonia" cirque Dreams (USA)
In 2008 Vladimir (senior) and Olga Kurzyamovs created their new act
with linking rings under the name the "Steel laces".
Now Vladimir Kurzyamov is working on the creation of his own Magic show.
